Lori Lucki, Deathcare Professional
Hello, my name is Lori. It is with humble reverence and respect that I have chosen my journey to walk beside the brokenhearted. The loss of a loved one is never easy, and the journey can be very daunting and overwhelming. I am here to lend a hand, listen with an open heart, and to lessen the burden. There is always a myriad of tasks that I am trained to guide and help facilitate. Additionally, I am available to provide both emotional and spiritual support during this process. I have received a Certification of Completion from the BEyond Yonder Virtual School for Deathcaring and I have been trained and certified as a Funeral Celebrant with the Insight Institution. My commitment is to work with you to create a beautiful, memorable ceremony and to hold sacred space for you and your family. Rest assured this transition will be graceful, peaceful, and handled with the utmost respect. This is your time to remember and reflect.

A Doula is "a non-medical professional who serves and journeys alongside others." Our holistic and nurturing doula approach focuses on the unique needs of individuals and families during times of change or crisis. We companion, advocate, liaise, educate and provide support during times of transition and fear relating to the senior years, loss of independence, terminal illness, the end of life transition, death and grief. We offer assistance as they develop a plan that incorporates their values, needs, goals and abilities, to empower them to live and enjoy days filled with life.
A Certified End of Life Doula (CEOLD) companions both the dying and their loved ones. In this specialized non-medical professional role, we offer an additional level of reassurance in their home, at the hospital, hospice or care facility to both the dying person and their family. Our holistic doula approach empowers families to create a sacred space to share final memories, embrace the bittersweet gifts of the journey and prepare for their courageous goodbyes. The Doula will continue to offer emotional and practical support to the family immediately after their loved one dies, in the days that follow and beyond.

Pamela Johnson
Pamela has been comforting mourners and honoring their deceased loved ones with her piano music for over 30 years. Her repertoire encompasses many genres, both secular (including Classical) and religious, and makes every effort to accommodate special requests. Pamela is experienced accompanying soloists and is easy to work with. If your venue doesn’t have a piano, she can bring her portable piano. For a more dignified look, Pamela has a grand piano shell that holds her keyboard and fits anywhere. She can also provide background music during the reception.

Joanne Van Beek
Hello,
My name is Joanne Van Beek, and I am a Certified Life-Cycle Funeral Celebrant® serving Edmonton and the surrounding rural communities. The passing away of a loved one is often a difficult experience — and preparing their farewell ceremony can be overwhelming.
A trained celebrant can create a ceremony with you that captures the essence of your loved one’s life. This can be seen as a gift to your loved one, as well as to you and your family.
Whether it’s a traditional funeral or a non-traditional celebration of life, a carefully crafted ceremony that highlights the personal stories, values, beliefs and personality of your loved one can be a transformative and healing experience.
It would be an honour to help you respectfully say goodbye with a ceremony as unique as your loved one. I look forward to your call.
